About the Cape Verde Islands

Cape Verde Islands are worldwide recognized as the Blue Marlin Capital! Impressive numbers and size fish. Cape Verde is a blue marlin destination which also caters to other facets of fishing too - game fish such as tuna and wahoo, however 95% of the fishing that we do in Cape Verde is primarily blue marlin. The technique that we use in Cape Verde is mainly switch baiting which in my terms is the most exciting technique of fishing for blue marlin. We encourage our customers to become part of the team and improve their skills and feeling the magic of catching billfish. Our crew is well experienced and has fished Cape Verde for many years. We fish hard every day to make each day count!

We are based on Sao Vicente a northern island with around 70,000 people. This island offers a beautiful marina, good hotels, apartments and restaurants. The Cape Verde archipelago is located around 370 miles of the West coast of Africa and is composed of ten islands. The climate is mild between 25 and 29 °C. The islands are all volcanic in origin and the official language is Portuguese. We recommend you to bring a sweatshirt and light jacket for the duration of your trip.
